Vitinho de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilmar Borges in the 5th minute of play. Vitinho de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilmar Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josué Pinheiro in the 8th minute of play forced Atlético Livramentense's goalkeeper Vitinho de Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atlético Livramentense's Vitinho de Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josué Pinheiro in the 8th minute of play. The Atlético Livramentense players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Matungo Gaúcho were winning 0-4.

Matungo Gaúcho's Diego Baresi was substituted for Renan de Senna. The crowd rose to their feet as Matungo Gaúcho's Celedonio Florinio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vitinho de Souza. That made the score 0-5 after 54 minutes of play. In the 58th minute, Marcinho Sena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Matungo Gaúcho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. 62 minutes into the match, Atlético Livramentense's goalkeeper Vitinho de Souza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Josué Madureira. 63 minutes into the match, Atlético Livramentense's goal looked a bit too open when Gilmar Borges came free, but Vitinho de Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vitinho de Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josué Pinheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After some careless play in the Atlético Livramentense defense, Marcinho Sena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vitinho de Souza. The Atlético Livramentense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vitinho de Souza should have stopped the shot. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Livramentense's goalkeeper Vitinho de Souza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 74th minute Cauã Quadros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademir Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vitinho de Souza came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Matungo Gaúcho's Gilmar Borges. But to his dismay, Gilmar Borges quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. When Gilmar Borges came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Matungo Gaúcho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilmar Borges couldn't finish the play. Vitinho de Souza was a little too slow when Josué Pinheiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 0-9. After 84 minutes of play, Matungo Gaúcho's Gilmar Borges made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vitinho de Souza was left in no man's land by his defense there! 87 minutes into the match, Josué Pinheiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vitinho de Souza. Atlético Livramentense's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Josué Pinheiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-11. Atlético Livramentense's Vitinho de Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josué Pinheiro in the 89th minute of play. After 91st play minutes Josué Pinheiro shot 0-12, a short shot which went by Vitinho de Souza and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Matungo Gaúcho's Juan Simon got a free kick in the 96th minute.
