When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Adriano Rodrigues sped through TIGRE DE OURO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carlos Alberto Prestes. After some careless play in the TIGRE DE OURO defense, Adriano Rodrigues kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Alberto Prestes. The TIGRE DE OURO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Alberto Prestes should have stopped the shot. After 20 minutes, Adriano Rodrigues made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. TIGRE DE OURO's Carlos Alberto Prestes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22nd minute, Flávio Matos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Alberto Prestes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Adriano Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Alberto Prestes having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adriano Rodrigues in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Alberto Prestes saved TIGRE DE OURO from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Adriano Rodrigues put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Carlos Alberto Prestes. When Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Adriano Rodrigues in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TIGRE DE OURO's goalie prevented a goal. Carlos Alberto Prestes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adriano Rodrigues's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Carlos Alberto Prestes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Carlos Alberto Prestes came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Adriano Rodrigues. But to his dismay, Adriano Rodrigues quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Adriano Rodrigues put it in 0-9 from a short distance just to the right of Carlos Alberto Prestes. Adriano Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Carlos Alberto Prestes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adriano Rodrigues struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Carlos Alberto Prestes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Xapetuba Futebol Clube.

Carlos Alberto Prestes was a little too slow when Adriano Rodrigues got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-11. An unexpected shot in the 63rd minute by Adriano Rodrigues got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of Xapetuba Futebol Clube:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of TIGRE DE OURO:s goal. The referee gave TIGRE DE OURO a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Horácio Siqueira, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Tiaguinho da Cunha. 1-12. Horácio Siqueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Carlos Alberto Prestes managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Adriano Rodrigues fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Carlos Alberto Prestes didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 80th minute, which inside left pole to 1-15. TIGRE DE OURO's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Adriano Rodrigues scored to the left of an out of position Carlos Alberto Prestes, making the score, 1-16. Adriano Rodriguess short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Carlos Alberto Prestes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. TIGRE DE OURO's Carlos Alberto Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Rodrigues in the 97th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Rodrigues in the 98th minute of play forced TIGRE DE OURO's goalkeeper Carlos Alberto Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adriano Rodrigues received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carlos Alberto Prestes came out and tried to block the shot, but Adriano Rodrigues slotted it home off the left post making it 1-18 in the 99th minute. When the match was over Xapetuba Futebol Clube could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than TIGRE DE OURO throughout the match.
