Classe A Futebol Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pierre Gasly in the 24th minute. The corner led Classe A Futebol Clube's Falcão Paraibano to fire away a dangerous shot which Ricky Blake despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Pierre Gasly's late challenge caught a Clube dos pro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pierre Gasly helped the player get up and apologised. Pierre Gasly hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the match, Classe A Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Elmar Bruch came free, but Sérgio Perez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Ricciardo in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricky Blake prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Ricciardo in the 33rd minute of play forced Clube dos pro's goalkeeper Ricky Blake to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Classe A Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Iréné Reyna came free, but Sérgio Perez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Kauan Albuquerque fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clube dos pro's protests and gave Kauan Albuquerque a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Classe A Futebol Clube booed when Clube dos pro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kauan Albuquerque didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 46 played minutes Clube dos pro got a freekick which was hit by Moisés Marinho. 47 minutes into the match, Clube dos pro's goalkeeper Ricky Blake had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pierre Gasly.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Ribas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Clube dos pro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iréné Reyna to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierre Gasly in the 54th minute of play forced Clube dos pro's goalkeeper Ricky Blake to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricky Blake showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Ricciardo in the 60th minute of the match. Ricky Blake stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Vettel's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. The supporters of Classe A Futebol Clube booed when Clube dos pro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksander Naredi didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Ricciardo in the 69th minute of play forced Clube dos pro's goalkeeper Ricky Blake to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st match minute, Clube dos pro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elmar Bruch to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, Daniel Ricciardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricky Blake. Clube dos pro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Ricciardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 88th minute, Sebastian Vettel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Classe A Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. After some careless play in the Clube dos pro defense, Diego Ribas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricky Blake. The Clube dos pro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricky Blake should have stopped the shot. Clube dos pro's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
