In the 4th minute, Paulo José Loyola left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GLocos do Cerrado FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, GLocos do Cerrado FC's Haroldo Alvarenga got a free kick in the 15th minute. Elói de Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zézinho Paraíba in the 16th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Palmeiras de Plantão's Elói de Andrade threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aureliusz Bykowski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Elói de Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helge Almkvist in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Helge Almkvist in the 24th minute of play forced GLocos do Cerrado FC's goalkeeper Elói de Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elói de Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Helge Almkvist in the 26th minute of the match. GLocos do Cerrado FC's attentive Elano Martins managed to snatch the ball when Haroldo Fonseca made a throw-in in the 29th minute of the game. After 38 minutes, Zézinho Paraíba made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. GLocos do Cerrado FC's Elói de Andrade tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. GLocos do Cerrado FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Aureliusz Bykowski scored to the left of an out of position Elói de Andrade, making the score, 2-1. In the 46th match minute, Palmeiras de Plantão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Paulista to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Arthur Vogel kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Palmeiras de Plantão's Haroldo Fonseca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elói de Andrade narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nestor Paulista might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elói de Andrade. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nestor Paulista ran back to his position shaking his head. Aureliusz Bykowski scored 3-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elói de Andrade, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Manuel Lavandero in the 70th minute of play forced Palmeiras de Plantão's goalkeeper Cido Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Palmeiras de Plantão's Cido Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murillo Figueiredo in the 72nd minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Paulo José Loyola had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cido Meireles. Palmeiras de Plantão's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulo José Loyola was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. GLocos do Cerrado FC's Elói de Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliusz Bykowski in the 77th minute of play. Arthur Vogel tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Elói de Andrade. An unnecessary self made goal, 4-2 in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Palmeiras de Plantão's Helge Almkvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elói de Andrade made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. After 91 played minutes Palmeiras de Plantão got a freekick which was hit by Cauã Gøth. Elói de Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliusz Bykowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Aureliusz Bykowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Palmeiras de Plantão's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
