Zbigniew Dulka came out of the goal and Joseph Joestar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Antto Vahalahti hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Joseph Joestar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zbigniew Dulka came out and tried to block the shot, but Joseph Joestar slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 75th minute. Jonathan Petri's late challenge caught a Acadêmicos Esporte Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
