Mathias Breckenfeld could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Jeremias Ribeiro made a huge save. CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Burukster's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Afonso Marques took the corner.
