Acácio da Cunha was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. When Arnaldo Basajaun came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnaldo Basajaun couldn't finish the play. In the 16th match minute, Burukster was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arlindo Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. Arnaldo Basajaun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Jeremias Ribeiro made a huge save. Jeremias Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Basajaun in the 19th minute of play. Mariusz Komornicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matheus Nascimento in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, one of Burukster:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A collision led to CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Winnie Winger hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Matheus Nascimento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mariusz Komornicki was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Bitxintxo to make the kick off. Jeremias Ribeiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnaldo Basajaun's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Arnaldo Basajaun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 57 minutes into the game, Gösta Andreasson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Burukster the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matheus Nascimento got free with Mariusz Komornicki in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnaldo Basajaun in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeremias Ribeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jeremias Ribeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Trigo in the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Trigo in the 79th minute of play forced Burukster's goalkeeper Jeremias Ribeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Bitxintxo scored 2-3 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mariusz Komornicki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Basajaun in the 89th minute of play forced Burukster's goalkeeper Jeremias Ribeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeremias Ribeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Basajaun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matheus Nascimento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Mariusz Komornicki made a huge save. After some careless play in the Burukster defense, Vivaldo de Toledo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeremias Ribeiro. The Burukster fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeremias Ribeiro should have stopped the shot. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
