Alisson Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Paulo Queirós in the 8th minute of play. After 8 played minutes Barões F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Coccolone. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Laurencio Vidal put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Alisson Taffarel. Alisson Taffarel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nixon Richard in the 15th minute. Alisson Taffarel made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Pedro Paulo Queirós sent off a good shot on target. In the 20thth minute of the game Nixon Richard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Natingui FC's Alisson Taffarel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Natingui FC's Alisson Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Paraibano in the 21st minute of play. Alisson Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Paraibano in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Donato Paraibano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alisson Taffarel. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 27th minute, Nixon Richard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 30 minutes in the game Vito Cosme did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Pedro Paulo Queirós. Alisson Taffarel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nixon Richard went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Alisson Taffarel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nixon Richard's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute, Nixon Richard reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alisson Taffarel. The goal made the score 4-0. Donato Paraibano took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alisson Taffarel. Alisson Taffarel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 48th minute of the match, Pedro Paulo Queirós tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alisson Taffarel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eliseu Guerra to make the kick off. Nixon Richard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Paulo Queirós in the 60th minute of play forced Natingui FC's goalkeeper Alisson Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C.'s Donato Paraibano was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alisson Taffarel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Alisson Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nixon Richard in the 88th minute of the match. When Nixon Richard came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Barões F. C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nixon Richard couldn't finish the play. C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
