With a little luck, FC St. Pauli's Guilherme Mendonça got control of the ball when Malte Örtendahl tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 11th minute, Belmiro Figueiredo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Guilherme Mendonça. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 17th minute Estação F.C were awarded a corner. Falcão Albuquerque went to the cornerflag to take it. 22 minutes into the match, Estação F.C's Malte Örtendahl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guilherme Mendonça narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A well-hit corner resulted in Maurício Tróia heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oséias Sergipano in the 26th minute of play forced Estação F.C's goalkeeper Severino Vergílio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guilherme Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belmiro Figueiredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 28 played minutes FC St. Pauli got a freekick which was hit by Edmílson Toscano. With a little luck, FC St. Pauli's Guilherme Mendonça got control of the ball when Malte Örtendahl tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30thth minute of the game Malte Örtendahl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC St. Pauli's Guilherme Mendonça was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Belmiro Figueiredo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Guilherme Mendonça came out and tried to block the shot, but Belmiro Figueiredo slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 31st minute. Belmiro Figueiredo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guilherme Mendonça read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Guilherme Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belmiro Figueiredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Belmiro Figueiredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 43rd play minutes Belmiro Figueiredo shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Guilherme Mendonça and just under the crossbar into goal. After 46 played minutes Estação F.C got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Gorosti. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Belmiro Figueiredo to make the kick off. Guilherme Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belmiro Figueiredo in the 51st minute of the match. Mathias das Neves charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mathias das Neves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC St. Pauli getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Mathias das Neves hit a great ball. Guilherme Mendonça didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Malte Örtendahl went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Guilherme Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belmiro Figueiredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 59th minute, Adhemar Bertassi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the game, Belmiro Figueiredo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Guilherme Mendonça was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luizinho Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Estação F.C's Miguel Silva was substituted for Nicanor Gorosti. After a rather tough play, Estação F.C's Luizinho Ramos got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 70th minute, Maurício Tróia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC St. Pauli's Guilherme Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseu Cabral in the 71st minute of play. Guilherme Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Malte Örtendahl in the 75th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Malte Örtendahl notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of FC St. Pauli's Guilherme Mendonça. Guilherme Mendonça was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Guilherme Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseu Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Eliseu Cabral might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guilherme Mendonça. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guilherme Mendonça didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estação F.C. 90 minutes into the match, Eliseu Cabral notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of FC St. Pauli's Guilherme Mendonça. Guilherme Mendonça was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Guilherme Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseu Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Estação F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
