Jonas Fantini did an outstanding performance 39 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-3 to the right of an irritated Jeferson de Queirós in the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Lars-Erik Gustafsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Natingui FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars-Erik Gustafsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeferson de Queirós breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

Jeferson de Queirós made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Eliseu Guerra sent off a good shot on target. After 93 played minutes Eliseu Guerra rounded Ligeiro F.C's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-6. After some careless play in the Natingui FC defense, Sandro Paulista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alisson Taffarel. The Natingui FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alisson Taffarel should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle sounded Natingui FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ligeiro F.C.
