The crowd rose to their feet as Bastioes EC's Cássio Freitas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Laércio Sá. That made the score 3-1 after 19 minutes of play. Jairo Arantes struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Laércio Sá didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bastioes EC. Igor Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sydney Gonçalves in the 25th minute of the match. Jairo Arantes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Laércio Sá made a huge save. Laércio Sá made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Freitas in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of Bastioes EC booed when Psiu! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Alzola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Laércio Sá successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sydney Gonçalves in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Igor Marinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 43 minutes into the match, Cássio Freitas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Laércio Sá, 4-2.

In the 52nd minute, Cássio Freitas made a precise shot to the right of Laércio Sá. Psiu!'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. The referee felt a red card was in order, 55 minutes into the game, when Urbano Alzola put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Psiu!:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bastioes EC:s goal. In the 57th minute there was a penalty for Bastioes EC. Jairo Arantes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Laércio Sá. 6-2. Laércio Sá showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Arantes, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute Jairo Arantes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laércio Sá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laércio Sá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Freitas in the 67th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Psiu! defense, Jairo Arantes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laércio Sá. The Psiu! fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laércio Sá should have stopped the shot. Laércio Sá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalberto Félix in the 94th minute of the match. After 95 minutes Psiu!'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jairo Arantes who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Armandinho Pirani almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Psiu!'s Laércio Sá did a great save. Bastioes EC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
