Ronaldo Giovanelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guilherme Garcia in the 11th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Saba Bodø could shoot a difficult shot in the 14th minute, which Ronaldo Giovanelli however easily saved by the left post. Carlos Santana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgar Grönlund having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Santana in the 16th minute of play forced Habilirows's goalkeeper Edgar Grönlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgar Grönlund came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Galo do Japi's Carlos Santana. But to his dismay, Carlos Santana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Ronaldo Giovanelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilherme Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's Carlos Santana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgar Grönlund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carlos Santana ran back to his position shaking his head. 24 minutes into the match, Habilirows's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Santana came free, but Edgar Grönlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mazinho Ribeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mazinho Ribeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Santana was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Galo do Japi's Carlos Santana slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edgar Grönlund. That made the score 0-4 after 51 minutes of play. Edgar Grönlund was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Carlos Santana showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 54 minute of play. In the 89thth minute of the game Carlos Santana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Habilirows's Edgar Grönlund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Habilirows's Didi Neves got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute, Carlos Santana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Carlos Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galo do Japi's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Santana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Grönlund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Habilirows lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
