In the 17th minute, Cacá Xavier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucas Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronaldo Leão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Eliseu Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronaldo Leão succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 27th playminute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronaldo Leão got free with Eliseu Mendes in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31st minute Jeferson Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renato Braga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Adrianinho Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind KEIPER F. C.'s goalkeeper Eliseu Mendes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Ronaldo Leão made a precise shot to the right of Eliseu Mendes. KEIPER F. C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cacá Xavier to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Kaká Paes sped through KEIPER F. C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eliseu Mendes. Eliseu Mendes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldo Leão's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Kaká Paes took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eliseu Mendes. Eliseu Mendes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. KEIPER F. C.'s Jeferson Senna got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ronaldo Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliseu Mendes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronaldo Leão went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. Eliseu Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in KEIPER F. C.'s zone, Kaká Paes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseu Mendes came out of the goal and Kaká Paes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of KEIPER F. C. booed when Habilirows was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dráusio Urbano didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Habilirows had played much better football throughout.
