Spectators: 156 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ralf Albäck got the match started through his kick off. Ivo Correia hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Eliseu Mendes came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by ATHLETICO PRaiano's Ralf Albäck. But to his dismay, Ralf Albäck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Deilmison van Basten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eliseu Mendes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. After 10 played minutes, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Vitor Beckenbauer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eliseu Mendes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ATHLETICO PRaiano reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Virgílio Faria in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodriguinho Sousa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Deilmison van Basten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eliseu Mendes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, KEIPER F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ralf Albäck came free, but Eliseu Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Ralf Albäck sped through KEIPER F. C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eliseu Mendes. Gaétan Govou came free in the 26th minute and tried to tip the ball over Eliseu Mendes, but to the joy of KEIPER F. C.'s supporters the ball went over. Eliseu Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralf Albäck in the 28th minute of play. Ivo Correia tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Eliseu Mendes. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-3 in the 29th minute. Eliseu Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralf Albäck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute of the match ATHLETICO PRaiano got a corner. KEIPER F. C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Betão Marquez ran over to the corner to take the kick. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Betão Marquez was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eliseu Mendes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Eliseu Mendes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralf Albäck in the 35th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, ATHLETICO PRaiano's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Sousa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cacá Xavier. Eliseu Mendes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ralf Albäck's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 43rd minute Ralf Albäck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ralf Albäck in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eliseu Mendes saved KEIPER F. C. from getting behind. In the 45th minute, Ivo Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cacá Xavier to make the kick off. Eliseu Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralf Albäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 53 minutes KEIPER F. C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Betão Marquez who took care of the corner kick. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by KEIPER F. C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Betão Marquez was slow to take the kick. During this time ATHLETICO PRaiano's players had a chance to rest. Cícero de Sena charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cícero de Sena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ATHLETICO PRaiano booed when KEIPER F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cícero de Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. When ATHLETICO PRaiano's Ralf Albäck in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KEIPER F. C.'s goalie prevented a goal. ATHLETICO PRaiano made a substitution. Heitor Maldini replaced Betão Marquez. In the 70th minute, Deilmison van Basten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eliseu Mendes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. KEIPER F. C.'s Eliseu Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deilmison van Basten in the 73rd minute of play. When ATHLETICO PRaiano's Deilmison van Basten in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KEIPER F. C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Cícero de Sena hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. With 79 minutes on the clock, Ivo Correia commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in KEIPER F. C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! In the 80th minute, the referee gave ATHLETICO PRaiano a penalty. Deilmison van Basten looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Eliseu Mendes. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Denílson Magalhães got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Deilmison van Basten scored 0-8 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eliseu Mendes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as ATHLETICO PRaiano's Deilmison van Basten slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eliseu Mendes. That made the score 0-9 after 91 minutes of play. ATHLETICO PRaiano's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Unax Mudarra in the 96th minute. At last the ball reached Erubiel Valery at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of KEIPER F. C.. 0-10. When the final whistle sounded ATHLETICO PRaiano left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than KEIPER F. C..
