The audience thought a goal was coming when Adalberto Félix got free with Edgar Grönlund in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jairo Arantes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgar Grönlund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. A collision led to Bastioes EC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Eusébio Mota hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cássio Freitas in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgar Grönlund saved Habilirows from getting behind. Igor Marinho made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Zé Paulo Ramos sent off a good shot on target. Gildo Sabóia hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bastioes EC's zone, Celsinho Messias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Igor Marinho came out of the goal and Celsinho Messias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodrigo Paiva hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Bastioes EC were victorious despite being under pressure from Habilirows for much of the match.
