C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Santana came free, but Eliseu Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseu Mendes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Santana in the 5th minute. Carlos Santana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eliseu Mendes having to make a save. Carlos Santana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Eliseu Mendes made a huge save. Cícero de Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Cafu Ringaa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eliseu Mendes. KEIPER F. C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, KEIPER F. C.'s Eliseu Mendes got control of the ball when Carlos Santana tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match, Paulo Renato Saraiva tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eliseu Mendes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Eliseu Mendes had in the 32ndth minute some difficulties stopping Carlos Santana's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 34th minute, Carlos Santana made a precise shot to the right of Eliseu Mendes. KEIPER F. C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Carlos Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eliseu Mendes made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Carlos Santana sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Carlos Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galo do Japi's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Santana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliseu Mendes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Santana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eliseu Mendes having to make a save. In the 73rd match minute, KEIPER F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Délio Valle to maneuver through the defense. C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Santana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Délio Valle made in the 87th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Galo do Japi's Cléberson Lara. KEIPER F. C.'s Eliseu Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Santana in the 91st minute of play. Eliseu Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Galo do Japi fully deserved thier win.
