Spectators: 187 (Terracing: 141, Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) After a defensive mix-up in Ferrao FC's zone, Maurinho Trezeguet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Fernando Ramos came out of the goal and Maurinho Trezeguet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Fernando Ramos came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Cactos's Luisinho Maciel. But to his dismay, Luisinho Maciel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Ferrao FC's goalkeeper Carlos Fernando Ramos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luisinho Maciel. 12 minutes into the game, one of Ferrao FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Cactos a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mario Yepes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ferrao FC's Carlos Fernando Ramos. 2-0. In the 17th minute Luisinho Maciel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Fernando Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute of the match, Conrado Capixaba got a very nice opportunity to score, but Carlos Fernando Ramos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Luisinho Maciel did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Carlos Fernando Ramos 25 minutes into the match. Luisinho Maciel took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Fernando Ramos. Carlos Fernando Ramos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. With a little luck, Ferrao FC's Carlos Fernando Ramos got control of the ball when Luisinho Maciel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos Fernando Ramos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luisinho Maciel went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luisinho Maciel in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Fernando Ramos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Conrado Capixaba hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Amauri Bezerra in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cactos's Mario Yepes. Carlos Fernando Ramos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luisinho Maciel's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, one of Ferrao FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ferrao FC. The goalkeeper, Carlos Fernando Ramos, was totally fooled by Cactos's Mario Yepes, who 46 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 8-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luisinho Maciel made a kick off. Luisinho Maciel took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Fernando Ramos. Carlos Fernando Ramos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ferrao FC's goalkeeper Carlos Fernando Ramos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cactos made a substitution. Coronel Camba replaced Conrado Capixaba. Cactos's Ricki Dresager was substituted for Luisinho Maciel. After 65 played minutes Ferrao FC got a freekick which was hit by Amauri Bezerra. 68 minutes into the match, Cactos's goalkeeper Bran Allison had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dieguinho Sanches. The corner led Cactos's Peter Bagge to a score. 11-0 in the 72nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Ricki Dresager managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cactos's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricki Dresager was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Fernando Ramos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maurinho Trezeguet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonatan Valström in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Fernando Ramos saved Ferrao FC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Ricki Dresager's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Fernando Ramos was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. The supporters of Cactos booed when Ferrao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Penha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferrao FC were furious when Patrick Penha was red carded, 84 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 86 minutes into the match, Ferrao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberigo Palomba came free, but Carlos Fernando Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ferrao FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mario Yepes was slow to take the kick. During this time Cactos's players had a chance to rest. In the 90th minute of the match Cactos got a corner. Ferrao FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mario Yepes ran over to the corner to take the kick. 92 minutes into the match, Ferrao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ricki Dresager came free, but Carlos Fernando Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricki Dresager might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Fernando Ramos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ricki Dresager ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee ended the match the Cactos players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
