Raí Catarinense hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jardel Batista in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Recai Keçeli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Félix Mielle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Recai Keçeli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edinho Arantes, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Raí Catarinense hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Raí Catarinense took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Félix Mielle. Félix Mielle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When MALZBIER's Jardel Batista in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The VASCO DA GAMA fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when VASCO DA GAMA's 徐远翀 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Félix Mielle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iwo Pstrongowski's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. A collision led to MALZBIER getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Jardel Batista hit a great ball. Félix Mielle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iwo Pstrongowski in the 36th minute of the match. Recai Keçeli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yuri Loureiro in the 37th minute. Yuri Loureiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Recai Keçeli made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwo Pstrongowski in the 40th minute of play forced MALZBIER's goalkeeper Félix Mielle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the last second Recai Keçeli throw himself and got hold of the ball when Jardel Batista in the 43rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Jardel Batista in the 48thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Recai Keçeli, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

MALZBIER's Tony Hoffmann was substituted for Jardel Batista. In the 52nd match minute, MALZBIER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Erdem Özalpsan to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in MALZBIER's zone, 徐远翀 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Félix Mielle came out of the goal and 徐远翀 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 徐远翀 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Félix Mielle having to interfere. 徐远翀 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute, Sandro Leite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. VASCO DA GAMA's 徐远翀 got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 徐远翀 who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Félix Mielle when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by MALZBIER's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adriano Branco was slow to take the kick. During this time VASCO DA GAMA's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Raí Catarinense almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MALZBIER's Félix Mielle did a great save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raí Catarinense in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Félix Mielle saved MALZBIER from getting behind. If Iwo Pstrongowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 76th minute Iwo Pstrongowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Félix Mielle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Hoffmann in the 84th minute of play forced VASCO DA GAMA's goalkeeper Recai Keçeli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. VASCO DA GAMA's Krzysztof Piczak was substituted for Iwo Pstrongowski. VASCO DA GAMA's Patrick Mendonça was substituted for 徐远翀. Félix Mielle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Krzysztof Piczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. VASCO DA GAMA's Inácio Dias got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
