The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Alfredão de Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Xavier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Humberto Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredão de Medeiros in the 4th minute of play. After 5 minutes Brasilino's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wilton Bezerra who took care of the corner kick. Didi de Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute Wilton Bezerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Xavier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Humberto Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Didi de Lima in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Sobreiro Fênix's Alfredão de Medeiros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Humberto Xavier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Humberto Xavier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauan Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauan Marquez in the 20th minute of play forced Brasilino's goalkeeper Humberto Xavier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Brasilino's goal looked a bit too open when Kauan Marquez came free, but Humberto Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Brasilino getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Frank Senna hit a great ball. The Sobreiro Fênix fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Sobreiro Fênix's Alfredão de Medeiros looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Brasilino defense, Alfredão de Medeiros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Humberto Xavier. The Brasilino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Humberto Xavier should have stopped the shot. Humberto Xavier came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sobreiro Fênix's Didi de Lima. But to his dismay, Didi de Lima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 35th minute Kauan Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Xavier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Humberto Xavier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Didi de Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Geovani Azevedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Humberto Xavier was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Humberto Xavier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kauan Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Humberto Xavier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Didi de Lima in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Wilton Bezerra made a precise shot to the right of Humberto Xavier. Brasilino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Pedro Paulo Furlan made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredão de Medeiros got free with Humberto Xavier in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredão de Medeiros in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Humberto Xavier saved Brasilino from getting behind. Humberto Xavier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauan Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the game, Kauan Marquez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Humberto Xavier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kauan Marquez succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-10 in the 69th playminute. After 72 minutes, Alfredão de Medeiros made it 0-11 with a short kick to the right side. Brasilino's Humberto Xavier tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 79th minute Kauan Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Xavier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Wilton Bezerra reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Humberto Xavier. The goal made the score 0-12. Humberto Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredão de Medeiros in the 89th minute of play. 0-13 became the score in the 91st minute when Didi de Lima elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to Brasilino getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Frank Senna hit a great ball. The Brasilino fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sobreiro Fênix were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
