In the last second Henrique Arruda throw himself and got hold of the ball when Lei Feng Yan in the 70thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lei Feng Yan in the 71st minute. After 78 minutes of play, MEL - ULTIMATE's Jailson Fernandez made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Arce's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelio Walme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. But to his dismay, Nilmar Garcia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. A collision led to S.E.R. Caxias do Sul getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Lucio Siekkötter hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
