FÊNIX F.C.'s Damian Fetor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maicon Palmeira in the 21st minute of play. Bengt Bouchard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vicente Guimarães having to make a save. Vicente Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt Bouchard, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute, FÊNIX F.C.'s Bengt Bouchard dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 29thth minute of the game Maicon Palmeira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FÊNIX F.C.'s Damian Fetor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maicon Palmeira scored 1-3 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damian Fetor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 40 minutes into the game, Maicon Palmeira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. But to his dismay, Maicon Palmeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-9. If Maicon Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Damian Fetor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maicon Palmeira in the 76th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Maicon Palmeira notched a goal, 1-10, to the right of FÊNIX F.C.'s Damian Fetor. Damian Fetor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind FÊNIX F.C.'s goalkeeper Damian Fetor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Maicon Palmeira notched a goal, 1-11, to the right of FÊNIX F.C.'s Damian Fetor. Damian Fetor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Geovani Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The audience was convinced that Maicon Palmeira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damian Fetor was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Uruguaiana's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
