An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariusz Chazen in the 9th minute of play forced Comanche EC's goalkeeper Janek Tomek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Comanche EC's zone, Arnaldo Naldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Janek Tomek came out of the goal and Arnaldo Naldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enrico Longo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseu Saraiva in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, García Cuervas notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of AFA Club's Enrico Longo. Enrico Longo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Comanche EC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Ediberto Abreu hit a great ball. In the 38th minute of the match, Staffan Nyberg sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Janek Tomek showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. Washington de Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute of the match Staffan Nyberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Janek Tomek skillfully saved the ball. When AFA Club's Arnaldo Naldo in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Comanche EC's goalie prevented a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnaldo Naldo was the one to do the kick off. Janek Tomek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Naldo in the 52nd minute of play. Janek Tomek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dipa Beer in the 59th minute. In the 75th match minute, AFA Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeu Matorin to maneuver through the defense. Ediberto Abreu might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enrico Longo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ediberto Abreu ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseu Saraiva in the 78th minute of play forced AFA Club's goalkeeper Enrico Longo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, AFA Club's goal looked a bit too open when García Cuervas came free, but Enrico Longo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnaldo Naldo struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Janek Tomek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFA Club. After 85 played minutes Comanche EC got a freekick which was hit by Jean-Jacques Rousseau. The supporters of Comanche EC booed when AFA Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Naldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enrico Longo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witold Blochowiak, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Arnaldo Naldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Janek Tomek made a huge save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Comanche EC had played much better football throughout.
