Caxias do Sul's goal looked a bit too open when Yuri Pires came free, but Esen Sanal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Esen Sanal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jailson Fernandez in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute, one of S.E.R. Caxias do Sul:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for S.E.R. Caxias do Sul. Esen Sanal had in the 27thth minute some difficulties stopping Hugo Arce's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 27th minute, Hugo Arce made a precise shot to the right of Esen Sanal. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Lei Feng Yan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Henrique Arruda firmly grabbed it by the left post. Esen Sanal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yuri Pires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henrique Arruda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lei Feng Yan in the 37th minute. After a defensive mix-up in MEL - ULTIMATE's zone, Krisztián Véber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrique Arruda came out of the goal and Krisztián Véber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute of the match Hugo Arce sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Esen Sanal skillfully saved the ball.

The wind increased when Lei Feng Yan made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Krisztián Véber made a precise shot to the right of Henrique Arruda. MEL - ULTIMATE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 60 minutes into the match, MEL - ULTIMATE's goal looked a bit too open when Krisztián Véber came free, but Henrique Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henrique Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krisztián Véber in the 61st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Gláuber Tande got a free kick in the 66th minute. If Hugo Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 70 minutes into the match, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goal looked a bit too open when Renan Valladares came free, but Esen Sanal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krisztián Véber in the 72nd minute of play forced MEL - ULTIMATE's goalkeeper Henrique Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MEL - ULTIMATE were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hugo Arce took the corner. After taking down the ball on MEL - ULTIMATE's corner Hugo Arce fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Esen Sanal quite easily take care of the ball. Esen Sanal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jailson Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the MEL - ULTIMATE defense, Lei Feng Yan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henrique Arruda. The MEL - ULTIMATE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrique Arruda should have stopped the shot. Lucio Siekkötter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Arruda having to interfere. In the 87th minute of the match Hugo Arce sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Esen Sanal skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Esen Sanal got control of the ball when Jailson Fernandez tried to sneak it across the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, MEL - ULTIMATE's Jailson Fernandez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Esen Sanal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Daniel Owsiak hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Esen Sanal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
