Fábio Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vânderson Sá in the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Christian Figueiredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Júnior Quintana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandro Gavilanes having to interfere. Alexandro Gavilanes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júnior Quintana in the 14th minute of play. Dino do Vale took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexandro Gavilanes. Alexandro Gavilanes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24's zone, Dino do Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandro Gavilanes came out of the goal and Dino do Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júnior Quintana in the 31st minute of play forced ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24's goalkeeper Alexandro Gavilanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vânderson Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Fábio Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandro Gavilanes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dino do Vale in the 36th minute of the match. Alexandro Gavilanes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júnior Quintana in the 38th minute of play. When Paulo Bezerra came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Bezerra couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute Raimundo Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandro Gavilanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Júnior Quintana made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Dino do Vale dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alexandro Gavilanes, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Gremio NG's Júnior Quintana got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute, Johnny Cabeleira made a precise shot to the right of Fábio Pinheiro. Gremio NG's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Alexandro Gavilanes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino do Vale in the 65th minute of play. Alexandro Gavilanes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dino do Vale in the 67th minute of the match. Fábio Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Gustavo Perez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandro Gavilanes made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Júnior Quintana sent off a good shot on target. ㄇㄜㄕ 01-07-24's Gustaw Bochynski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hélder Antunes in the 74 minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dino do Vale in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandro Gavilanes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alexandro Gavilanes stood somewhat misplaced when Dino do Vale came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 81 minute. After 86 played minutes Gremio NG got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Oliveira. In the 87th minute, Luís Gustavo Perez sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Gremio NG's Fábio Pinheiro didn't even have to move. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vânderson Sá in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fábio Pinheiro saved Gremio NG from getting behind. After 91 played minutes Gremio NG got a freekick which was hit by Sandrinho Gaspar. Gremio NG's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
