This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed João Adolfo Rosa as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 13 played minutes Clube Atlético Impávido got a freekick which was hit by Fellipe Lira. Robustiano Clementi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Fellipe Lira in the 22nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Vista Alegre FC's Primitivo Ibar. In the 23rdth minute of the game Robustiano Clementi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clube Atlético Impávido's João Adolfo Rosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Robustiano Clementi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Clube Atlético Impávido's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edward Kisielka in the 33rd minute. Edward Kisielka took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronaldo de Moraes. Ronaldo de Moraes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 39th minute Stig-Arne Ekström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dudu Magalhães to make the kick off. A collision led to Vista Alegre FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Marco Soares hit a great ball. Stig-Arne Ekström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ronaldo de Moraes having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Robustiano Clementi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Adolfo Rosa was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Clube Atlético Impávido's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
