After 16 minutes of play, Irreal Madrid's Eusébio Siqueira made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Betão de Moraes was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg Betão de Moraes managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Irreal Madrid's Alfredo Secco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee ignored Irreal Madrid's protests and gave Magno Cabral a yellow card for diving instead. Betão de Moraes stood somewhat misplaced when Eusébio Siqueira came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 42 minute. A hard shot 45 in the game by Alfredo Secco from a close distance when the talented Betão de Moraes managed to make a qualified save. 20 de Março FC's players were relieved. Betão de Moraes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfredo Secco went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

54 minutes into the match, 20 de Março FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Secco came free, but Betão de Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Noel Braga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Pimenta in the 56th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Irreal Madrid's Alfredo Secco got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 61st minute, Rodolfo Trigo made a precise shot to the right of Betão de Moraes. 20 de Março FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Alfredo Secco sped through 20 de Março FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Betão de Moraes. Matheus Dionísio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Betão de Moraes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredo Secco's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Irreal Madrid made a substitution. Leo Bernard replaced Alfredo Secco. Betão de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Bernard in the 78th minute of play. After a rather tough play, 20 de Março FC's Fernando Pimenta got a free kick in the 79th minute. Leo Bernard struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Betão de Moraes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Irreal Madrid. Leo Bernard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betão de Moraes having to interfere. Betão de Moraes came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Irreal Madrid's Leo Bernard. But to his dismay, Leo Bernard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. In the 92nd minute, Leo Bernard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Betão de Moraes was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Irreal Madrid fully deserved thier win.
