After having played for 4 minutes, Hugo Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ibirama Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Correia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ezequiel Negri fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ibirama Futebol Clube's protests and gave Ezequiel Negri a yellow card for diving instead. Ezequiel Negri kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Alfredo Seccos short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Víktor Freire to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 16 minutes into the match, Ibirama Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Víktor Freire had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eusébio Siqueira. Agostinho Cabral struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Noel Braga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ibirama Futebol Clube. Víktor Freire came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Irreal Madrid's Eusébio Siqueira. But to his dismay, Eusébio Siqueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 25th minute of the game Afonsinho Mattos made a throw-in which Eusébio Siqueira played forward. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Claudinho Fernandes sped through Irreal Madrid's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Noel Braga. Eusébio Siqueira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Víktor Freire skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Agostinho Cabral during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Noel Braga came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ibirama Futebol Clube's Claudinho Fernandes. But to his dismay, Claudinho Fernandes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Eusébio Siqueira in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Víktor Freire, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 41st minute Alfredo Secco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Víktor Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudinho Fernandes hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Ibirama Futebol Clube's Víktor Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Siqueira in the 52nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Rodolfo Trigo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Irreal Madrid's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Trigo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Víktor Freire breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maurinho de Mendonça charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maurinho de Mendonça the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ibirama Futebol Clube! The referee gave Irreal Madrid a penalty, 60 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Matheus Dionísio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ibirama Futebol Clube's Víktor Freire. 3-2. 65 minutes into the game, Claudinho Fernandes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ibirama Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Irreal Madrid the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ibirama Futebol Clube's Claudinho Fernandes got a free kick in the 65th minute. Alfredo Secco took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Víktor Freire. Víktor Freire dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. In the 77th minute Leo Bernard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Víktor Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82ndth minute of the game Alfredo Secco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ibirama Futebol Clube's Víktor Freire was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Irreal Madrid's Chiquinho Diniz was substituted for Patrick Gomes. 89 minutes into the match, Ibirama Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Bernard came free, but Víktor Freire reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ezequiel Negri hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Irreal Madrid's Magno Cabral got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute, Jaime Zonta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Víktor Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Bernard in the 97th minute of the match. Many of Ibirama Futebol Clube's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ibirama Futebol Clube may have spent more time on the ball, but Irreal Madrid were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
