In the 6th minute, one of Corinthians Paulistano:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Corinthians Paulistano. 11 minutes into the match, Vivaldo Fernandes notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Corinthians Paulistano's Giovanni Schmidt. Giovanni Schmidt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 14 minutes into the match, GynBsb's goalkeeper Frederico Bertassi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armandinho Fernandez. After some careless play in the Corinthians Paulistano defense, Kauan Pena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giovanni Schmidt. The Corinthians Paulistano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giovanni Schmidt should have stopped the shot. Giovanni Schmidt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vivaldo Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fellipe Cosme scored 0-3 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giovanni Schmidt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Corinthians Paulistano's Giovanni Schmidt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fellipe Cosme in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Corinthians Paulistano's Armandinho Fernandez got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute of the match Filipe Brito sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Giovanni Schmidt skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Corinthians Paulistano's zone, Fellipe Cosme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giovanni Schmidt came out of the goal and Fellipe Cosme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, GynBsb's Frederico Bertassi got control of the ball when Nilton Martins tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The wind increased when Vivaldo Fernandes made the kick off in the second half. Paul Danielsson hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. If Fellipe Cosme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nilton Martins in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frederico Bertassi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Giovanni Schmidt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fellipe Cosme in the 59th minute of play. Frederico Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramón Pernambucano, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Frederico Bertassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilton Martins in the 69th minute of the match. With a little luck, Corinthians Paulistano's Giovanni Schmidt got control of the ball when Fellipe Cosme tried to sneak it across the goal line. Frederico Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilton Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Giovanni Schmidt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fellipe Cosme in the 86th minute of play. Vivaldo Fernandes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giovanni Schmidt having to make a save. After 93 minutes, Enéas Passos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corinthians Paulistano and the GynBsb players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Corinthians Paulistano's Enéas Passos got a free kick in the 93rd minute. GynBsb's Filipe Brito shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 94th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Giovanni Schmidt but with some difficulty. GynBsb's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
