In the 6th minute Josué Quintal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to BMB IMOVEIS SC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Laerte Arantes hit a great ball. In the 10th minute, Mathias Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Josué Quintal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sérgio de Azevedo was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. A hard shot by Dedé Alagoano from long distance, 17 minutes into the match, got Manga Santos's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Josué Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sérgio de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josué Quintal, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. When Josué Quintal came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the MACUMBA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josué Quintal couldn't finish the play. 42 minutes into the match, BMB IMOVEIS SC's goal looked a bit too open when Josué Quintal came free, but Sérgio de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, André Luiz Vides had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manga Santos. MACUMBA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that André Luiz Vides was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Flann Flack to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flann Flack got free with Sérgio de Azevedo in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 58th minute, Emanuel Paranaense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, BMB IMOVEIS SC's Emanuel Paranaense got a free kick in the 59th minute. Flann Flack who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Sérgio de Azevedo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flann Flack got free with Sérgio de Azevedo in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Mathias Vidal was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 64 minutes had been played. After 64 played minutes BMB IMOVEIS SC got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Vidal. With a little luck, BMB IMOVEIS SC's Sérgio de Azevedo got control of the ball when Flann Flack tried to sneak it across the goal line. José Jofre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Sérgio de Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, Gugu de Moraes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BMB IMOVEIS SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MACUMBA the free kick. 78 minutes into the match, Flann Flack notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of BMB IMOVEIS SC's Sérgio de Azevedo. Sérgio de Azevedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tiaguinho Fernandes scored 1-3 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sérgio de Azevedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With an all-out effort, MACUMBA's Sérgio de Azevedo threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Flann Flack, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hélder Melo kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the match was over MACUMBA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than BMB IMOVEIS SC throughout the match.
