Arsenio Manni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silas de Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anıl Şahan in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arsenio Manni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20th match minute, Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Vidal to maneuver through the defense. Arsenio Manni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silas de Brito in the 28th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Juan Aleso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arsenio Manni. Laus Deo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Aleso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 35th minute, Anıl Şahan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luis Alberto Moura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Anıl Şahan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arsenio Manni. The goal made the score 0-6. Anıl Şahan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arsenio Manni having to make a save. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Oier Lopez de Toro was substituted for Anıl Şahan. But to his dismay, Oier Lopez de Toro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ played a much better game than Laus Deo and deserved their victory. The Laus Deo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
