The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zbigniew Zatorski struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Tiago Sanches didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-. In the 10th minute Zbigniew Zatorski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Sanches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Zbigniew Zatorski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tiago Sanches. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbigniew Zatorski in the 15th minute of play forced Clebinho FC's goalkeeper Tiago Sanches to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Clebinho FC's zone, Zbigniew Zatorski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiago Sanches came out of the goal and Zbigniew Zatorski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Zbigniew Zatorski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tiago Sanches. That made the score 2-0 in the 22 minute of play. In the 26th minute, Wasyl Major hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zbigniew Zatorski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Clebinho FC's Tiago Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbigniew Zatorski in the 30th minute of play. Tiago Sanches made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zbigniew Zatorski in the 33rd minute. Zbigniew Zatorski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Tiago Sanches made a huge save. In the 36th minute Tião Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zbigniew Zatorski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Tiago Sanches made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Zbigniew Zatorski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tiago Sanches was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martin Guerrero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Simo Mihklisaar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raphael Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trey Golding, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Tião Guerra charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tião Guerra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- booed when Clebinho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tião Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simo Mihklisaar took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiago Sanches. Tiago Sanches dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Giovani Luz was substituted for Laerte Romero. In the 71st minute, Emiliano Toribio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 73 minutes into the game, Sílvio da Mata was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clebinho FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- the free kick. After a rather tough play, Clebinho FC's Sílvio da Mata got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Dobromir Malewicki, 74 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 6-0 became the score in the 76th minute when Simo Mihklisaar elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Simo Mihklisaar made a precise shot to the right of Tiago Sanches. Clebinho FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Tiago Sanches came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Tim-Florian T. Hansen. But to his dismay, Tim-Florian T. Hansen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Emiliano Toribio got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 90 minutes of play, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Emiliano Toribio made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiago Sanches was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Clebinho FC defense, Emiliano Toribio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiago Sanches. The Clebinho FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiago Sanches should have stopped the shot. Gildo Andrade's late challenge caught a Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gildo Andrade helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Clebinho FC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Gildo Andrade hit a great ball. Dobromir Malewicki took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 98th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tiago Sanches. Clebinho FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- had played much better football throughout.
