The supporters of BMB IMOVEIS SC booed when Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Toribio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute Zbigniew Zatorski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 minutes of play, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Zbigniew Zatorski made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sérgio de Azevedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience was convinced that Simo Mihklisaar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sérgio de Azevedo was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. After 83 minutes BMB IMOVEIS SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dobromir Malewicki who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s corner Pedro Luiz Dantas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sérgio de Azevedo quite easily take care of the ball. Tony Thanos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Sérgio de Azevedo made a huge save. After 86 minutes BMB IMOVEIS SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dobromir Malewicki who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Simo Mihklisaar getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simo Mihklisaar got free with Sérgio de Azevedo in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after BMB IMOVEIS SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dobromir Malewicki took the corner. Sérgio de Azevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simo Mihklisaar's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of BMB IMOVEIS SC's goalie and right to Tim-Florian T. Hansen. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. BMB IMOVEIS SC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Simo Mihklisaar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Sérgio de Azevedo made a huge save.
