Douglas Vides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelsinho Nascimento having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Fielzão's Nelsinho Nascimento threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carlos Augusto Vasconcelos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erlingur Haaland in the 38th minute of play forced Fielzão's goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Aparecido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 39 minutes into the game, when Max Ahlroth put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fielzão fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! After 59 played minutes Guará FC got a freekick which was hit by Lachezar Dzhevov. Guará FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arvid Treiner ran over to the corner to take the kick.
