The supporters of ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ booed when Fielzão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Augusto Vasconcelos didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's Carlos Eduardo Aparecido threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ranolfo Piedrahita, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Fielzão's Carlos Eduardo Aparecido got control of the ball when Cody Miles tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cody Miles got free with Carlos Eduardo Aparecido in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fielzão's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Guilherme Ramos was slow to take the kick. During this time ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's players had a chance to rest. Carlos Eduardo Aparecido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Petrosino in the 17th minute of play. With a little luck, Fielzão's Carlos Eduardo Aparecido got control of the ball when Cody Miles tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos Eduardo Aparecido made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Hannes Hellsing sent off a good shot on target. Fielzão's Carlos Eduardo Aparecido proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Fielzão from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Fielzão's Carlos Eduardo Aparecido got control of the ball when Cody Miles tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos Eduardo Aparecido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cody Miles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Fielzão's goal looked a bit too open when Cody Miles came free, but Carlos Eduardo Aparecido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolas Britto came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Fielzão's Carlos Augusto Vasconcelos. But to his dismay, Carlos Augusto Vasconcelos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Hartmut Propst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Armando Petrosino made the kick off in the second half. Hartmut Propst's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Eduardo Aparecido read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Fielzão's goal looked a bit too open when Hartmut Propst came free, but Carlos Eduardo Aparecido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute Hartmut Propst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Eduardo Aparecido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Fielzão's zone, Ranolfo Piedrahita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Eduardo Aparecido came out of the goal and Ranolfo Piedrahita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Eduardo Aparecido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ranolfo Piedrahita in the 64th minute of play. Douglas Vides's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolas Britto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute Cody Miles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Eduardo Aparecido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's Cody Miles in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fielzão's goalie prevented a goal. Fielzão's Carlos Eduardo Aparecido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ranolfo Piedrahita in the 73rd minute of play. Arvid Treiner struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Nicolas Britto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fielzão. ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ made a substitution. Luiz Eduardo Valadares replaced Ranolfo Piedrahita. Fielzão's Alfredo Trigo was substituted for Luisão Leal. ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's Hannes Hellsing quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ciro de Alcântara, made in the 77th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Augusto Vasconcelos in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolas Britto saved ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ from getting behind. Carlos Eduardo Aparecido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Suazo in the 85th minute of the match. Humberto Suazo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Hannes Hellsing hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's José Augusto Araújo got a free kick in the 89th minute. Fielzão's Carlos Augusto Vasconcelos got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fielzão's Ciro de Alcântara quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Almir Dante, made in the 93rd minute of the game. ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's Humberto Suazo got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
