Sylwester Zarobski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 庄辉雄 in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Grêmio 20 Julho's Téo Pires sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan Figlewski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 庄辉雄 hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute of the match, Téo Pires tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jan Figlewski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 23rd minute of the match Grêmio 20 Julho got a corner. Abutres 2003 FDP's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Humberto Soeiro ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Gilmar Romero managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Jan Figlewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdemar de Amaral in the 26th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdemar de Amaral in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan Figlewski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 29 minutes into the match, Grêmio 20 Julho's goal looked a bit too open when Malin Karolev came free, but Sylwester Zarobski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sylwester Zarobski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chiquinho Pombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sylwester Zarobski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 庄辉雄 in the 34th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Malin Karolev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sylwester Zarobski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After 41 minutes, Chiquinho Pombal made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Grêmio 20 Julho's Sylwester Zarobski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Grêmio 20 Julho getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Humberto Soeiro hit a great ball. Sylwester Zarobski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chiquinho Pombal in the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute of the match, Valdemar de Amaral tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jan Figlewski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chiquinho Pombal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sylwester Zarobski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malin Karolev in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Grêmio 20 Julho's goal looked a bit too open when Chiquinho Pombal came free, but Sylwester Zarobski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amílton de Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Grêmio 20 Julho's Amílton de Andrade got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute Valdemar de Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Figlewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Chiquinho Pombal put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Sylwester Zarobski. 70 minutes into the game, Malin Karolev recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sylwester Zarobski. Malin Karolev showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. Abutres 2003 FDP's Jan Figlewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar de Amaral in the 81st minute of play. Grêmio 20 Julho were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Abutres 2003 FDP's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chiquinho Pombal in the 91st minute of play forced Grêmio 20 Julho's goalkeeper Sylwester Zarobski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sylwester Zarobski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chiquinho Pombal went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. The Grêmio 20 Julho fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Abutres 2003 FDP were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
