When João Pedro Moreno came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Jereba 4EVER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Pedro Moreno couldn't finish the play. Taquaral Campineiro's Blair McCormick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Percy de Barros in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Geovani Sanches notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Taquaral Campineiro's Blair McCormick. Blair McCormick was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Maicon Trevisan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geraldo de Godoi in the 18th minute of the match. Waldemar Baptista's late challenge caught a Jereba 4EVER's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 24 minutes of play, Jereba 4EVER's Geovani Sanches made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Blair McCormick was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Albino Steven in the 27th minute of play forced Jereba 4EVER's goalkeeper Maicon Trevisan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Geovani Sanches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geovani Sanches got free with Blair McCormick in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Taquaral Campineiro's Blair McCormick got control of the ball when Geovani Sanches tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maicon Trevisan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Donatello in the 37th minute of the match. In the 41st minute João Pedro Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blair McCormick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Jereba 4EVER fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Jereba 4EVER's Geovani Sanches looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Blair McCormick made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Geovani Sanches sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geovani Sanches got free with Blair McCormick in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Jereba 4EVER made a substitution. Enio Terra replaced Enio Linares. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Geraldo de Godoi to strike the kick off in the second half. Blair McCormick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovani Sanches, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geovani Sanches in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Blair McCormick prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geovani Sanches in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Blair McCormick saved Taquaral Campineiro from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, João Pedro Moreno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jereba 4EVER's supporters rose to their feet, but João Pedro Moreno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blair McCormick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geovani Sanches in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Blair McCormick saved Taquaral Campineiro from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Taquaral Campineiro's zone, Geovani Sanches stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blair McCormick came out of the goal and Geovani Sanches tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Taquaral Campineiro defense, João Pedro Moreno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Blair McCormick. The Taquaral Campineiro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Blair McCormick should have stopped the shot. Blair McCormick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovani Sanches in the 70th minute of play. Geovani Sanches sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blair McCormick came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Jereba 4EVER's João Pedro Moreno. But to his dismay, João Pedro Moreno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. 75 minutes into the match, Taquaral Campineiro's goal looked a bit too open when Geovani Sanches came free, but Blair McCormick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Pedro Moreno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Blair McCormick read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Blair McCormick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovani Sanches, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Matheus Figueiredo fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Taquaral Campineiro's protests and gave Matheus Figueiredo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Taquaral Campineiro's Matheus Figueiredo got a free kick in the 81st minute. Jereba 4EVER's Dito Quirino was substituted for João Pedro Moreno. The audience was convinced that Geovani Sanches's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Blair McCormick was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Geovani Sanches took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Blair McCormick. Blair McCormick dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Jereba 4EVER's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
