In the 40th minute, Egídio Tinoco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Capivariano F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Wágner Antunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walmyr Novaes, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Capivariano F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
