Egídio Tinoco started the match with the kick off. Capivariano F.C.'s Wágner Antunes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Capivariano F.C. from getting a goal against them. João Adolfo Peixoto kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Natanael Paraense came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Capivariano F.C.'s Egídio Tinoco. But to his dismay, Egídio Tinoco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 12 minutes into the game, Egídio Tinoco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Natanael Paraense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Ardoin in the 22nd minute of play forced Goiás Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Natanael Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Mario Ardoin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Natanael Paraense quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 31 played minutes Capivariano F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni Goiano. Natanael Paraense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egídio Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 minutes, Valdir Neves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Goiás Esporte Clube and the Capivariano F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Valdir Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Wágner Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Diniz in the 38th minute of play. Wágner Antunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dênis Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Natanael Paraense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Egídio Tinoco's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute.

In the 58thth minute of the game Egídio Tinoco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Goiás Esporte Clube's Natanael Paraense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Capivariano F.C.'s Egídio Tinoco got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Umberto Peres struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Wágner Antunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goiás Esporte Clube. João Adolfo Peixoto made in the 75th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Umberto Peres immediately put the ball in play. Nando Rossi hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Valdir Neves was shown his second yellow card after 77 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 78th minute, Valdir Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Goiás Esporte Clube's zone, Lukas Martinsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Natanael Paraense came out of the goal and Lukas Martinsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Natanael Paraense came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Capivariano F.C.'s Mario Ardoin. But to his dismay, Mario Ardoin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Natanael Paraense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukas Martinsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Capivariano F.C. getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Felipe Prata hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Capivariano F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
