With a little luck, Bergamim F.C.'s Didi de Moraes got control of the ball when Marcus Diniz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 6th minute Lando Guazo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natanael Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 10 minutes of play, Bergamim F.C.'s Lando Guazo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Natanael Paraense was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudinei Peixoto in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Natanael Paraense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Claudinei Peixoto sped through Goiás Esporte Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Natanael Paraense. 18 minutes in the game, Marcus Diniz dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 24th minute Hélio Lucas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natanael Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dênis Faria came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Goiás Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dênis Faria couldn't finish the play. Goiás Esporte Clube's Natanael Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tassos Koutsoubos in the 34th minute of play. Marcus Diniz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Didi de Moraes made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Bergamim F.C.'s Hélio Lucas got a free kick in the 37th minute. The supporters of Bergamim F.C. booed when Goiás Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Umberto Peres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Loureiro hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute Umberto Peres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Goiás Esporte Clube were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Bergamim F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Valdir Neves took the corner. The corner led Goiás Esporte Clube's Valdir Neves to fire away a dangerous shot which Didi de Moraes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Bergamim F.C.'s Didi de Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dênis Faria in the 48th minute of play.

Dênis Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Didi de Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Natanael Paraense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tassos Koutsoubos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Umberto Peres scored 1-2 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Didi de Moraes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 62 minutes in the game, Lando Guazo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Natanael Paraense having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei Peixoto in the 64th minute of play forced Goiás Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Natanael Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Tassos Koutsoubos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bergamim F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Tassos Koutsoubos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natanael Paraense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Natanael Paraense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tassos Koutsoubos in the 69th minute of play. Natanael Paraense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tassos Koutsoubos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudinei Peixoto got free with Natanael Paraense in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Natanael Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tassos Koutsoubos, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 84 minutes into the match, Bergamim F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Diniz came free, but Didi de Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Marcus Diniz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Didi de Moraes was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei Peixoto in the 93rd minute of play forced Goiás Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Natanael Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Natanael Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lando Guazo, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
