With a little luck, Esperança FC's Fabiano Saldanha got control of the ball when Giuseppe Marques tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th minute of the match, Giuseppe Marques tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fabiano Saldanha saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Erivaldo Romero received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabiano Saldanha came out and tried to block the shot, but Erivaldo Romero slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 25th minute. Cipriano Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís de Moraes in the 28th minute of the match. Fabiano Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casper Granqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Elia Giusto hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Esperança FC's Fabiano Saldanha got control of the ball when Erivaldo Romero tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís de Moraes made a kick off. Jari Jaakkola didn't quite understand what happened when in the 58 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Casper Granqvist scored 4-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabiano Saldanha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
