The supporters of Romando Futebol Clube booed when New Colorado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diamantino Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jardel Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Sundström in the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Sundström in the 15th minute of play forced New Colorado's goalkeeper Jardel Paiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute André Sundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jardel Paiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jardel Paiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niva Bellido in the 17th minute of play. Jardel Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Sundström, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Niva Bellido had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jardel Paiva. New Colorado's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niva Bellido was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 29th minute Régis Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jardel Paiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to New Colorado getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Luiz Fábio Catarinense hit a great ball. When Juninho Paulista came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Romando Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juninho Paulista couldn't finish the play. Jardel Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niva Bellido in the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, André Sundström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jardel Paiva. New Colorado's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Romando Futebol Clube the free kick. In the 46th match minute, New Colorado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fábio Catarinense to maneuver through the defense. Jardel Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Régis Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The New Colorado players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Romando Futebol Clube were winning 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Niva Bellido stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Régis Cruz got free with Jardel Paiva in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 55th minute, Régis Cruz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jardel Paiva was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. In the 61st minute, Régis Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Régis Cruz made a precise shot to the right of Jardel Paiva. New Colorado's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. André Sundström kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After 72 played minutes New Colorado got a freekick which was hit by Wanderson Camargo. Jardel Paiva was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Juninho Paulista. Jardel Paiva made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Niva Bellido sent off a good shot on target. Wanderson Camargo kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After some careless play in the New Colorado defense, Régis Cruz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jardel Paiva. The New Colorado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jardel Paiva should have stopped the shot. After 86 minutes of play, Romando Futebol Clube's Lino Valle made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jardel Paiva was left in no man's land by his defense there! 90 minutes into the match, Niva Bellido notched a goal, 0-10, to the right of New Colorado's Jardel Paiva. Jardel Paiva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Régis Cruz scored 0-11 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jardel Paiva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Romando Futebol Clube's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
