After a defensive mix-up in Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's zone, 沈建渊 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Percival Munhoz came out of the goal and 沈建渊 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erling Haaland might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Percival Munhoz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erling Haaland ran back to his position shaking his head. When José Pedro Vides came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG fans jumped to their feet. Bebeto de Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 75 minutes, José Pedro Vides mouthed his way into the referee's book. If Renatinho Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Percival Munhoz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renatinho Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's goal looked a bit too open when Renatinho Reis came free, but Percival Munhoz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
