After 5 played minutes Oranil got a freekick which was hit by Moisés de Sousa. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, José Pedro Vides managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's supporters rose to their feet, but José Pedro Vides was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Velloso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kiko Teixeira's late challenge caught a Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kiko Teixeira helped the player get up and apologised. Kiko Teixeira hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. José Pedro Vides hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Túlio Brasil in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Velloso saved Oranil from getting behind. 19 minutes into the match, Breno Tasso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Juan Velloso, 1-0. Túlio Brasil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Juan Velloso made a huge save. Breno Tasso's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Juan Velloso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's Breno Tasso in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in Oranil's zone, Breno Tasso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Velloso came out of the goal and Breno Tasso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmílson Catarinense to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Breno Tasso in the 51st minute of play forced Oranil's goalkeeper Juan Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th match minute, Oranil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sérgio Freire to maneuver through the defense. After 55 played minutes Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG got a freekick which was hit by Túlio Brasil. After 56 minutes, Sérgio Freire mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oranil and the Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sérgio Freire kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. The Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's Breno Tasso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Breno Tasso in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Velloso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Breno Tasso took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juan Velloso. Juan Velloso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. After a rather tough play, Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's Breno Tasso got a free kick in the 85th minute. Túlio Brasil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Augusto Gerber during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's Pedro Augusto Gerber got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
