But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wellington Ferraz couldn't finish the play. After 17 played minutes Real Fantasma got a freekick which was hit by Dorian Maciel. After 18 minutes of play, Laguna Sunrise FC's Juan Andrade made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Vítor Esteves was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 26 minutes of play, Laguna Sunrise FC's Diguinho Abreu made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 33rd minute Juan Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Vítor Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Vítor Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real Fantasma's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wellington Ferraz was slow to take the kick. During this time Laguna Sunrise FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Christiano Correia almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Real Fantasma's João Vítor Esteves did a great save. Juan Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, Laguna Sunrise FC's Juan Andrade nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Vítor Esteves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The supporters of Real Fantasma booed when Laguna Sunrise FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wellington Ferraz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Júlio Freire kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Laguna Sunrise FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Olavo Moreira made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Andrade in the 51st minute of play forced Real Fantasma's goalkeeper João Vítor Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the game, Laguna Sunrise FC's Juan Andrade nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Vítor Esteves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. João Vítor Esteves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan Andrade went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. João Vítor Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diguinho Abreu in the 59th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Real Fantasma's goal looked a bit too open when Paulinho Hoffmann came free, but João Vítor Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Juan Andrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 64 minutes into the game, Paulinho Hoffmann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. João Vítor Esteves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Laguna Sunrise FC booed when Real Fantasma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nico Itajaí didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute of the match Wellington Ferraz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but João Vítor Esteves showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Paulinho Hoffmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laguna Sunrise FC's Diguinho Abreu got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Vítor Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 84th minute, Juan Andrade left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laguna Sunrise FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. With an all-out effort, Laguna Sunrise FC's João Vítor Esteves threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Diguinho Abreu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 90 minutes into the game, Paulinho Hoffmann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. João Vítor Esteves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. João Vítor Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulinho Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Real Fantasma's goal looked a bit too open when Paulinho Hoffmann came free, but João Vítor Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laguna Sunrise FC played a much better game than Real Fantasma and deserved their victory. The Real Fantasma players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
