When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Nathaniel Burnett put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Falcão Sampaio. After 13 minutes of play, Imbituba - FSCMZ's Nathaniel Burnett made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Falcão Sampaio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Grentino FC's Falcão Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nathaniel Burnett in the 25th minute of play. Falcão Sampaio came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Imbituba - FSCMZ's Nathaniel Burnett. But to his dismay, Nathaniel Burnett quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Nilton Passos hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Falcão Sampaio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nathaniel Burnett in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute, Válter Baiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Falcão Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nathaniel Burnett in the 61st minute of the match. Falcão Sampaio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nathaniel Burnett's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Nilton Passos got a throw-in 65 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Bo Edström. After a rather tough play, Grentino FC's Amadeu de Alcântara got a free kick in the 74th minute. After 76 played minutes Grentino FC got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu de Alcântara. The audience thought a goal was coming when Válbson Pimenta got free with Falcão Sampaio in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Válbson Pimenta's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Falcão Sampaio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Válter Baiano hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Rogério da Silva kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Falcão Sampaio. That made the score 0-7 in the 83 minute of play. In the 87th minute there was a penalty for Imbituba - FSCMZ. Válbson Pimenta stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Falcão Sampaio. 0-8. In the 90th minute Válbson Pimenta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Falcão Sampaio was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Rogério da Silva capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rogério da Silva really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9.
