The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Marcelo Valverde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 6 played minutes, Brasiliense FC's Cyryl Smolarek shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leon Kosmatka came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brasiliense FC reached it. In the 7th minute, Marco Seco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lionel 柯景义 was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Leon Kosmatka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afiz Phua, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Manuel Uncu in the 13th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by INTER FC's Cássio Porto. If Marco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brasiliense FC's Lionel 柯景义 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Seco in the 22nd minute of play. Leon Kosmatka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afiz Phua in the 28th minute of the match. A collision led to Brasiliense FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Manuel Uncu hit a great ball. With his leg Lionel 柯景义 managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when INTER FC's Marco Seco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 39th minute Afiz Phua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Kosmatka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, INTER FC's goal looked a bit too open when Afiz Phua came free, but Leon Kosmatka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fausto de Senna was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Afiz Phua got free with Leon Kosmatka in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Afiz Phua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Leon Kosmatka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Seco struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Lionel 柯景义 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INTER FC. INTER FC's Mandi Oca was substituted for Emerson Cruz. 73 minutes into the match, Brasiliense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hortêncio Linhares came free, but Lionel 柯景义 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lionel 柯景义 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hortêncio Linhares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lionel 柯景义 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mandi Oca, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. When Mandi Oca fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored INTER FC's protests and gave Mandi Oca a yellow card for diving instead. Leon Kosmatka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto de Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Uncu hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 89th match minute, INTER FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Valverde to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Afiz Phua notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of INTER FC's Leon Kosmatka. Leon Kosmatka was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Afiz Phua took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Leon Kosmatka to make any attempt to save it. After 97 played minutes INTER FC got a freekick which was hit by Fiori de Lara.
