Teodoro Jacinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vágner Pernambucano, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 47th minute, Alfredo Paulista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronaldão Loureiro made a kick off. Ronaldão Loureiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Teodoro Jacinto made a huge save. In the 54th minute, PERNA DE PAU SC's Vágner Pernambucano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. When Nelson Nogueira came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the PERNA DE PAU SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nelson Nogueira couldn't finish the play. Teodoro Jacinto stood somewhat misplaced when Ronaldão Loureiro came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 82 minute. 85 minutes into the match, Ronaldão Loureiro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Teodoro Jacinto, 0-5.
