The coaching staff of Voyager Soccer Team protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gerson da Cunha had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 8 minutes into the game, one of Voyager Soccer Team:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 10th minute, the referee gave São Paulo da Floresta a penalty. Epifanio Cebrian looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Waldemar Quintal. Teodoro Jacinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piotr Rybak in the 13th minute of play. Luís Paulo Linhares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, São Paulo da Floresta's goal looked a bit too open when Alun Harmon came free, but Teodoro Jacinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waldemar Quintal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Paulo Linhares in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Voyager Soccer Team's goalkeeper Waldemar Quintal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Paulo Linhares. Bai Kun Yang made a great header on Voyager Soccer Team's corner, it was just that São Paulo da Floresta's Teodoro Jacinto managed to reach the ball for a save. The goalkeeper, Teodoro Jacinto, was totally fooled by Voyager Soccer Team's Bai Kun Yang, who 75 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 86 minutes of play, São Paulo da Floresta's Bernard Sierocki made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Waldemar Quintal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cícero Leite in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teodoro Jacinto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Voyager Soccer Team's goalkeeper Waldemar Quintal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo José Lucas during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Voyager Soccer Team booed when São Paulo da Floresta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo José Lucas didn't get a good kick on the ball.
