The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bart Claveau succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 9th playminute. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Bart Claveau sped through Guapira's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Xan Descapa. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oswaldo Moraes during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 17 played minutes Guapira got a freekick which was hit by Oswaldo Moraes. Guapira's Xan Descapa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Laureano in the 23rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tarvi Laanemets in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frederico Madureira saved Mochila FC from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Xan Descapa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Laureano in the 29th minute of play forced Guapira's goalkeeper Xan Descapa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo José Capixaba during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 33 played minutes Guapira got a freekick which was hit by Marcos de Amorim. Xan Descapa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sílvio Laureano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 35 minute of play. After 45 minutes, Mateus Freitas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mochila FC and the Guapira players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mochila FC! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bart Claveau made a kick off. If Tarvi Laanemets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Mochila FC's zone, Tarvi Laanemets stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frederico Madureira came out of the goal and Tarvi Laanemets tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 58 minutes into the game, Mochila FC's Sílvio Laureano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xan Descapa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. When Tarvi Laanemets came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Guapira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tarvi Laanemets couldn't finish the play. Anfilogino Genovese received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Xan Descapa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guapira's Hao Le Xiang was substituted for Tarvi Laanemets. Mochila FC's Bart Claveau pulled a muscle in his leg after 77 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Mochila FC's Tostão Varela was substituted for Bart Claveau. After 81 played minutes Mochila FC got a freekick which was hit by Tostão Varela. Tostão Varela hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the game, Alan Novaes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guapira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mochila FC the free kick. In the 93rd match minute, Guapira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Novaes to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hao Le Xiang got free with Frederico Madureira in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mochila FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Guapira had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
