In the 9th minute of the match Grêmio Prudente got a corner. Mochila FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eleuterio Gaztea ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Gomesano Gatica managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Edson Ribeiro spun around in front of the goal 11 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Mochila FC's goal. In the 12th minute, Bart Claveau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frederico Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edson Ribeiro in the 13th minute of play. Frederico Madureira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucrețiu Grigore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frederico Madureira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucrețiu Grigore's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Anfilogino Genovese managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mochila FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anfilogino Genovese was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Quinto Fonticoba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 42 minutes, Lucrețiu Grigore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grêmio Prudente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucrețiu Grigore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the game, Nicolas Mendes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grêmio Prudente's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mochila FC the free kick. After 45 played minutes Grêmio Prudente got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Mendes. Grêmio Prudente's Edson Ribeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bart Claveau was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anfilogino Genovese in the 52nd minute of play forced Grêmio Prudente's goalkeeper Quinto Fonticoba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucrețiu Grigore was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 53rd minute. Grêmio Prudente's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 54thth minute of the game Lucrețiu Grigore who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mochila FC's Frederico Madureira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Frederico Madureira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucrețiu Grigore's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Bart Claveau might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Quinto Fonticoba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bart Claveau ran back to his position shaking his head. Edson Ribeiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Frederico Madureira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Quinto Fonticoba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bart Claveau, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Luan Negri kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. A hard shot 73 in the game by Edson Ribeiro from a close distance when the talented Frederico Madureira managed to make a qualified save. Mochila FC's players were relieved. Edson Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederico Madureira having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edson Ribeiro got free with Frederico Madureira in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 77th minute, Grêmio Prudente's Edson Ribeiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. A collision led to Mochila FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Sidney Vander hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, Grêmio Prudente's Eleuterio Gaztea broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After having played for 81 minutes, Sílvio Laureano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lucrețiu Grigore's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frederico Madureira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Edson Ribeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Frederico Madureira made a huge save. Grêmio Prudente's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
